It is unlikely that any of us want to encode this anime.
The best choice would be rip from mottoj, because the original resolution is 960×540. But if you really need 1080p, then rip from Yousei-raws is better.
Yousei-Raws version is good for sure, but it’s outdated and was made about 10 years ago, now in this days there’s a far better method of encoding than it was back in 2010.

Knowing what kind of miracles you’re doing with encoding, I don’t think that the 960×540 source will be a big problem for you to make a decent 1080p BDRip.
Yousri-Raws version is not bad, but they made it about 11 years ago when there was no decent upscaling technology, and their all members are retired since 2017, so the only hope for new release are you or VCB.
So VCB-Studio made their release of FMA Brotherhood one month after this request. I found it to be some of the worst let down for a release, and I cannot understand how it still has more than 50 seeders.
Unless someone is having a lot of fun with heavy files and wants to mess with +250 GiB for this series, Yousei-Raws still appears as the reference release at a reasonnable size, and Mottoj is just amazing (better than VCB or Moozzi2) if someone’s is okay with AAC.
Would be nice if we can have an updated encode of Brotherhood
