So, as you already understand, this project has been frozen indefinitely. I don’t have all the DVDs to encode all 206 episodes and am currently busy encoding other anime.
Here you can download the patch to rev for episode 8 – https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nLCRjYYNsr3ytEfa3xg51_OGe7hhoPsO/view?usp=sharing

@Urotsuki
Which version is better? this or the one you did for SOFCJ?
This, of course. Better filtering and encoding video. Better sound quality (according to one person whom I trust). There are even chapters and DVD menus.
Nice, thanks for the info!
I thought that the audio on the Log Collection DVDs was the best Japanese audio that was released [AC3, 448 kb/s]. SOFCJ uses this. How can the audio from this release be better now?
The bitrate on those discs may just be bloated. It was a re-release of the DVD, which worsened the video and “modernize” the sound.
Good point. I just compared the bitrates.

I saw this comparison on nyaa.
What release has the original colors ?
Can you seed the second and third torrent please?
Is there a chance that this project will be continued in the near future?
Yes, I plan to continue in the next few months :)
Glad to hear this. Thanks.
Please do more!
Need seeds pls. This quality is awesome!
Thank you for giving us the best version of the first 206 episodes, Urotsuki.
I can’t wait for the rest of the episodes, especially that CR started translating
the anime in my mother language. I’ll definitely do a re-watch after you
complete this project *No pressure ;b*.
One more thing, Urotsuki. Episodes 44 & 52 have extra 15 seconds at the end. I think it’s extra DVD addendum and should be trimmed by you, because all the episodes don’t have that extra 15 seconds at the end. I think you should look into that and maybe fix it with the final batch. Thanks for your time.

Also, I think SOFCJ’s old rip had this extra 15 seconds as well.
@Urotsuki
Do you have any schedule to continue this Project?
This Quality is awsome! We want more of your great work! :-)
Yes, I plan to continue in the next few months :)
1. I found by accident that in one frame of episode 1 (at 07:47.425) an error message is displayed as hardsub (“System exception – Access Violation […]”).
2. More importantly: The image comparison that is linked in the first comment shows that the encoded image is stretched compared to the source. Isn’t there another solution so that the encoded image is not stretched?
Yes, I noticed that too, but someone already mentioned that on rutracker and Urotsuki said he’ll fix it in a batch.
And this batch is on rutracker ?
Hi ! I am a french fan of your amazing release.
Are you going to upload a batch with fixed V2 episodes or something ?
Because I want to use your release to do a recut based on the manga, and I don’t know if I should wait a V2 Release or something else.
Thank you for your work !
Hi. Sorry, but I’m busy with other rips so far. I’ll decide what to do with One Piece later. Thanks.
I understand.
What do you think about the comparison image that I posted in reply to @Tom comment ?
https://slow.pics/c/NADhKd70
What release has the original colors ?
I am aware of this problem. I will try to improve the filtering to avoid color loss.
Thank you for you answers !
And good luck with your projects !
I wish you did the movies and animated specials instead.
And please, don’t mention SOFCJ releases if possible(up till this day, he only makes x264 encodes)…
What do you mean by “don’t mention sofcj”? Kindly elaborate.

I’m curious how you managed to remove the interlacing so effectively, I have a set of french OP PAL DVDs (1-56) that I would love to encode, preferably in AV1
Here it’s just automatic deinterlacing via AnimeIVTC. Individual frames were corrected using QTGMC.
PAL DVDs are not the best choice for filtering. They usually have a lot of frames with blending.
