Yes, in addition to rip discs are 2 seasons that will soon come out.
Not to be rude to you guys, but the encodes seem to be with a heavy filter.
Is there any chance for this to be reworked or is this your final version?
Thanks for your all fantastic releases. You rock guys.
Exactly. The person who encoded this isn’t even on the staff team…
Are you even tried to compare this encode, guys? Here’s some comparison: https://animeguild.org/comparison.php?id=38
Well, I don’t have the source for comparison. But, at least with your comparison, it is obvious that the source was not good to begin with and indeed you have fixed many issues.
It’s just that we leechers don’t see many of your effort in between and my comment was based on overall quality of your releases.
Thanks.
I don’t have the source either, but I can imagine how much effort frost spent on that encode. That aliasing is not contiguous (only happens on 3D animated scenes), so obviously it requires scene-filtering.
“It’s just that we leechers don’t see many of your effort in between” What does that even mean? And I also don’t understand “my comment was based on overall quality of your releases” as frost is in my opinion one of the best encoders out there, and if actually take the time to compare any of his releases to others available, very high chance frost’s is better.
I didn’t badmouth anyone to be angered by you.
– The details about encodes and all filters used are not written in the post. So how could someone understand the level of efforts quantitatively? If specific issues have been fixed in the encode, no ones can say that the source did have those issues, nor can they guess the number of work hours till the final release unless such details are provided directly by the encoder.
– The overall quality of the Beatrice encodes is superb. I don’t compare it with anyone. However, this release contained high level of filter, which makes it inferior to “other releases in the group including frost”. So, the question raised why and I simply addressed that.
I only hoped that there would have been chances for better encodes. With DJATOM’s answer, it became clear that the issue was with the source BDs and the quality has been boosted already by efforts that frost had put in it. So, no further complain.
In any case, I humbly apologize for questioning Beatrice group’s work quality. I’m looking forward to seeing more releases.
Thanks guys.
Also =^_^= and frost is the same person, you know.
Well, based upon the comparison above he did a very good job. thanks!
