can i just understand why its extremely dim on my monitor? 400 nits 1080p and mind you the rest of your files are fine like the violet anime and movie have fine brightness but this is too dim and id really appreciate any help.
You should be able to play it in HDR mode.
how do i make sure thats enabled? i use VLC and if you think another media player is better id appreciate the recommendation and is the HRD setting in windows or VLC?
Use mpv or mpc + madvr and your monitor or tv must support hdr.
